Meanwhile there are a lot of graduation exibitions going on from fellow students.
This picture is from the graduation project of Robin Verhaegen.
We all wish we had an explanation for the crazy things we do and design.

It are my last few days in Ghent. The party was awesome yesterday and now I’m going to lunch in a great little coffieshop/brunch/lunch/bed&breakfast/…
‘La semplicità è la cosa più complicata del mondo’ is the favorite quote of the interiorarchitect JeanPierre Detaye. With his wife he opened the café. There is a great atmosphere, wonderfull cappuccino while sitting in a Charles & Ray Eames chair.
Le jardin bohemien isn’t only a coffeebar but as I told a bed&breakfast and a designshop with vintage furniture and porselin.

I don’t know if I showed this to you. But I do have a little obsession about the twenties.
Tonight is one of my last nights in Ghent and with my classmates we have a little saying goodbye party in the style of the twenties.
But more important have you seen the trailer of The Great Gatsby movie, comming out soon! I’m really looking forward to see the movie.

And don’t forget to check out this amazing Prada movie!
At least part one for now. The movie is splitted in 3 parts and goes under the name Je m’appelle Candy.
New wave inspired and made by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola.

Adam Hill, a South Africa-based designer, made a wedding invite for the couple Simon&Simon. They wanted something a little out the ordinary and really liked the idea of a few postcard size pieces collectively making up the invite. The venue chosen was a farm in Cape Winelands where there live over one hundred ducks. So they became a part of the overall theme and design throughout the invite.

Just an amazing invite for a wedding!
